Job summary

Target Optical is seeking a Licensed Assistant Manager in Riverview, FL to lead the guest experience and team performance. You will work with the Optical Store Manager to deliver profitable sales, coach staff, recruit and develop team members, and ensure brand standards are met daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.
• License as required by State law must be held as per state rules.
• 2+ years retail or customer service experience expected.
• Selling skills are essential to exceed guest expectations.
• Self-motivation and the ability to recruit or select team members are required.
• Candidates should demonstrate critical thinking and collaboration.
• Must be accountable to results and able to coach and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Optical Store Manager to set plans for profitable store sales.
• Meet daily sales goals through WOW! Guest Experience behaviors.
• Lead and inspire the team to deliver a best-in-class fashion experience.
• Provide floor leadership to ensure guests receive an excellent experience.
• Model Target Optical Way in all store operations and guest interactions.
• Support partnerships with optical doctors and store hosts.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and retain Optical Team Members (OTMs).
• Coach team members to deliver WOW! Guest Experience with regular check-ins.
• Ensure compliance with eSchedule, Guest Retention, and Brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement merchandising and promotions.
