Job summary

Shopko Optical in Ontario, OH is seeking a Full-time Licensed Optical Sales Associate. You will provide outstanding patient service during eyewear selection, ordering and dispensing, with on-the-job training and certification opportunities.

Responsibilities include pre-screening activities, processing medical billing information, and maintaining frame inventory to support high-quality eye care for our patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• State licensing required to practice in Ohio.
• OCE Certification requirements must be completed to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to standards.
• Analyze patient eyewear needs and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Assist patients in selecting frames to match style and measurements.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally.
• Assist with frame repairs, adjustments, and contact lens care.
• Support the Optometrist with case histories and screenings.
