Qualifications

• Valid LNHA license in CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration preferred.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, laws, and guidelines for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall operation of the facility in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Lead the facility’s programs, activities, and governance guidelines.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators with department heads.
• Evaluate outcomes and implement actions to improve regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee budgeting and financial health with the Business Office Manager.
• Develop census and occupancy strategies to improve financial health.
• Represent the facility to the public and professional arenas.
• Lead regular management team meetings and coordinate with leaders across departments.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure regulatory readiness for health inspections and OSHA surveys.
