Job summary

Aperion Care Westchester is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to direct the daily operations of the facility and ensure adherence to federal and state guidelines. The administrator will lead policy implementation, staff development, and quality-of-care initiatives.

The role requires an active Nursing Home Administrator license, a public health or business administration degree, and experience supervising healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to read and interpret financial records, reports, etc.
• Must be able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active Nursing Home Administrator license

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day facility operations in accordance with federal/local standards
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct facility programs
• Assist in recruitment and selection of department directors and staff
• Monitor safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance
• Review monthly financial statements and report to governing board
• Address resident rights, grievances, and complaint handling
• Coordinate training and in-service programs for staff
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed by all personnel
