Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to direct day-to-day facility operations while ensuring compliance with federal and local standards. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and oversee quality of care for residents.

The role requires an active LNHA license, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least two years of supervisory healthcare experience. You will collaborate with physicians and department leaders to improve services and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Public Health Admin or Business Admin or health-related field.
• Must hold a current, active LNHA license to practice.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisor role in healthcare.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements and reports.
• Strong communication of policies, procedures, regulations, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and evaluate facility programs and activities per governing board guidelines.
• Assist department directors with policies, procedures and professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies by all staff, residents and visitors.
• Lead daily meetings to discuss survey findings and action plans.
• Develop corrections plans with timetables and monitoring methods.
• Review workforce competence and make necessary adjustments.
• Assist in recruitment and selection of department directors and staff.
• Counsel or discipline personnel as needed and appropriate.
• Collaborate with department directors to improve operations and services.
• Coordinate in-service and on-the-job training to keep material current.
• Foster a warm, welcoming and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Ensure physician compliance with admission, treatment and care plans.
• Maintain safety regulations and infection control standards.
• Review accident reports and monitor risk management effectiveness.
• Ensure resident funds are managed according to regulations.
