Job summary

Evercare of Collinsville seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to direct day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with federal and state standards and delivering high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include coordinating departments, guiding policy deployment, overseeing staffing, safety, budgets, and ensuring corrective plans after surveys, with focus on resident rights and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health administration or business administration or health-related field preferred.
• Must hold a current, active Nursing Home Administrator license.
• Two years' supervisory/healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices, laws, and guidelines for nursing facility administration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility's programs and activities per governing board guidelines.
• Ensure all staff, residents, visitors, and the public follow established policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily meetings with appropriate staff to discuss survey findings and action plans.
• Develop corrective plans for cited deficiencies with timetables and monitoring methods.
• Review workforce competence and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
• Assist in recruiting and selecting competent department directors, supervisors, and staff.
• Counsel or discipline personnel as needed and as appropriate.
• Consult with department directors to address problem areas and improve services.
• Coordinate in-service training, on-the-job training and orientation to keep materials current.
• Create a warm, professional atmosphere and a calm environment throughout the facility.
• Ensure physician compliance with policies relating to admission, medical treatment, plan of care and orders.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and risk management monitored.
• Review accident/incident reports and monitor effectiveness of the risk program.
• Oversee monthly financial statements and report to the governing board.
• Handle resident rights, complaints, and grievance processes and communicate actions to residents and families.
