The role requires an active LNHA license, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and experience in healthcare supervision. You’ll lead department directors, implement policies, manage training, and maintain safety and financial controls within the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health administration, business administration, or health-related field preferred.
• Active Nursing Home Administrator license required.
• 2+ years in a supervisor role in healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Able to read and interpret financial records and reports.
• Able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, and reports clearly.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility's programs and activities.
• Assist department directors in development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Ensure staff, residents, visitors follow policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily meetings to discuss survey findings and action plans.
• Develop plans of correction for deficiencies with timetables and monitoring.
• Recruit and supervise department directors and staff as needed.
• Counsel or discipline personnel as required.
• Consult with department directors to improve services.
• Oversee in-service and on-the-job training programs.
• Create a warm, calm, and positive facility atmosphere.
• Ensure physician compliance with admissions and care plans.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed by all.
• Review incident reports and risk management effectiveness.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and proper equipment.
• Review monthly financial statements and report to governing board.

Formation

Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration

Nursing Home Administrator license (active, unencumbered)

2+ years healthcare supervisor experience

Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices

Independent decision-making ability

Ability to interpret financial records

Communication of policies to staff, residents, families, and agencies
