Job summary
Rockingham County, NH is seeking Licensed Nursing Assistants to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Duties include bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and answering call lights, with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and observation of changes in residents’ conditions.
Successful completion of an approved LNA course and NH LNA licensure are required; basic computer skills and EMR familiarity are expected.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved course for Licensed Nursing Assistant as set by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid, unencumbered New Hampshire LNA license.
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have working knowledge or willingness to learn Electronic Medical Records system.
Responsibilities
- Provide bathing, grooming, feeding and toileting for residents under nurse supervision.
- Respond to call lights/alarms and observe changes in residents’ conditions.
- Maintain unit and resident room areas, including beds and personal belongings.
- Follow safety and infection control policies and report unsafe situations.
