Job summary

Alden is seeking a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants in a facility setting. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards while maintaining high-quality care for residents.

The role requires leadership, strong clinical skills, and the ability to coordinate medications and care plans. CPR certification and accurate communication in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
• CPR certification required within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledgeable in nursing practices and elder care.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants.
• Ensure care follows federal, state, local standards and facility policy.
• Plan and direct care plans, rounds, and documentation.
• Attend care conferences and monitor patient condition.
• Coordinate medications, treatments, and charting per policy.
