Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a dedicated RN or LPN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee daily nursing activities. You will ensure quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards while guiding nursing assistants and coordinating with the care team.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, recording patient information, supervising staff, attending care conferences, and promoting a warm, compassionate environment for residents in our facility in

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• CPR certificate current or must become certified within two weeks.
• Knowledgeable in nursing practices and procedures.
• Interest and/or knowledge in care of the aged.
• Able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to interact tactfully with staff, families, and the public.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Plan and direct care according to policy, ensuring quality standards.
• Develop care plans and document care appropriately.
• Attend care conferences and participate in staff education.
• Monitor rounds and ensure policy adherence across the department.
• Coordinate with physicians and families; report concerns to administration.
