Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a clinician to provide individual and group therapy to patients with varied mental health disorders. The role includes initial assessments, treatment planning, and coordinated aftercare, with collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include documentation, managing a caseload, and referrals for medication evaluations as needed. Candidates should have a Master?s degree and pursue licensure; a signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited program (MSW/ Psychology)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual & group therapy to patients with varied mental health disorders.
• Complete initial assessments, counseling, group therapy, case presentations, treatment planning and aftercare planning.
• Identify need for medication evaluations and refer to on-site providers.
• Complete documentation per department and hospital requirements (DMH, BSAS, Joint Commission, insurers).
• Manage caseload with consultations and follow-ups on missed appointments.
• Maintain licensure/credentialing necessary for the role.
