Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Behavioral Health clinician to provide individual and group therapy to patients within Behavioral Health Services. You will conduct assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing case management in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires a Master's degree and licensure eligibility (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT). Strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary clinical team and ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure eligibility (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual & group therapy to patients within Behavioral Health Services.
• Complete initial assessments, counseling, group therapy, case presentations, and treatment planning.
• Identify need for medication evaluations and referrals to on-site providers.
• Complete all necessary documentation per hospital, DMH, BSAS, The Joint Commission, and insurers.
• Manage caseload with consultations, collateral contacts, and follow-ups on missed appointments.
• Maintain licensure/credentialing as required for the role.
