Columbia Mental Health, a Transformations Care Network (TCN) member, seeks Licensed Mental Health Therapists to empower clients in Virginia and nearby states. The role supports therapists toward licensure within a collaborative clinical team.

The position emphasizes conducting assessments, delivering outpatient therapy, and creating crisis and wellness plans while coordinating with psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, and staff for holistic care.

Formación

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia or Maryland or eligible by hire date.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong ethics and confidentiality in practice.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms.
