Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Towson, MD, seeks a Licensed Mental Health PHP Therapist to join our in-person program from 9:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday. You will lead individual and group therapy, develop trauma-informed, person-centered treatment plans, and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other therapists to support integrated care.

The role emphasizes direct patient care (50-65%), evidence-based treatments (CBT, DBT, ACT), and thorough clinical documentation in EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment.
• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT; trauma-informed care; EMDR experience preferred.
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group psychotherapy for adults in PHP levels of care.
• Develop person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and determine level of care.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management.
• Design and deliver process, psychoeducational and skills groups focusing on emotional regulation and coping.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists for integrated care.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
