Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Columbia, MD seeks an Adolescent PHP Therapist to join our in-person team, working Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. You will provide high-quality individual and group therapy in PHP and IOP settings, building strong therapeutic relationships with teens and their families.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of direct clinical experience, a master's degree in a related field, and proficiency with CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment.
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage & family therapy, or related field.
• CBT, DBT, ACT knowledge; trauma-informed care; EMDR experience preferred.
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adolescents in PHP levels of care.
• Develop and maintain patient-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment.
• Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate.
• Demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care, measured through outcomes like retention and program completion.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
