Job Description

Must currently hold an active Life and Health General Lines License in your state of residence. The position is available in all U.S. States except for AK, AL, CA, CO, GA, HI, NM, SC, VT, WA, WY. Bilingual Spanish/English speakers are preferred but not required.

The Licensed Medicare Benefit Advisor is responsible for driving Medicare sales through professional, consultative selling of plan options in an inside sales environment. Opportunities may also include selling IFP (Individual & Family Plans) and ancillary products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from customers regarding health insurance options across 20-50 states.
  • Assist with escalated customer issues and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Meet sales and productivity goals regularly.
  • Update customer interactions in CRM.
  • Make outbound sales calls, recommend plans, and enroll prospects based on their needs.
  • Quote, present, and close sales, overcoming objections.
  • Follow up on a book of business with outbound calls.

Essential Duties

  • Consult and educate seniors 65+ on Medicare plans via phone.
  • Receive leads provided by the company—no prospecting required.
  • Make outbound calls on sales campaigns and meet sales goals.

Certifications and Licenses

  • Must hold an active General Lines L&H License in your state.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of sales, customer service, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple computer programs.
  • Reliable internet, dedicated workspace, and provided equipment.
  • HS Diploma or GED required.

Compensation

The total compensation ranges from $55,000 to over $100,000 per year, including salary and uncapped incentives. The hourly rate is approximately $18.00, based on experience and qualifications.
