Job Description Summary

This position is responsible for processing benefit verification or authorization responsibilities for all new referrals within the expected speed and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Processes benefit verification or authorization for all new referrals with speed and accuracy.
• Assists AVA Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with Military (Tricare/VA) authorization is highly preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple referrals/priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High self-discipline to maintain productivity expectations.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.

Travel Requirements

Preferred Qualifications & Interests

Healthcare/medical billing experience is preferred.

Salary range: $17.52 - $29.20, determined by education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
