Pacific Ridgeway is hiring a life insurance agent in Arizona to expand our client base and onboard new clients. You will excel at people skills, sales, and delivering outstanding customer service while helping clients with policy needs and coverage questions.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, a license in Life & Health insurance, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus.

• Prior health or life insurance experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims
• Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies
• Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
• Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations
• Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
• Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred
• Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus
