Job summary

New York Life Greater Atlanta is seeking a life insurance agent with exceptional customer service to join our growing agency. You’ll guide clients through products, assist with claims, and continuously grow a lead list to secure new business.

You will educate clients on long-term financial planning, maintain professional standards, and expand the client base through networking and referrals. Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Active Life & Health insurance license strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sales experience or business mindset is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date and maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping.
• Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while tracking progress of current claims.
• Provide warm, professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintaining existing clients.
• Evaluate clients’ insurance needs, risk, and goals through consultations to tailor solutions.
• Grow new business by networking, referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies.

• Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies

• Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor’s degree is desired
• Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus
