Job summary

Business Athlete Association - Ohio Division is seeking a Life Insurance Agent to grow our client base and onboard new clients. You will help protect assets and explain insurance benefits to local, regional, and government entities, including police departments and schools. You’ll drive sales through networking, referrals, PR marketing, and social media.

No cold calling or lead purchasing. Candidates should have a valid Life & Health license; a health or life insurance background is preferred,

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus.
• Background in health or life insurance preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Client service experience as a sales representative is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify client insurance needs and schedule meetings for new customers.
• Process claims for current policyholders and monitor status of claims.
• Manage electronic and paper records and keep contracting paperwork current.
• Provide warm, professional onboarding and ongoing service for clients.

Our insurance agency is expanding and needs the help of a Life Insurance Agent to grow our list of prospective clients and onboard new clients. We’re directly responsible for handling asset protection and Insurance benefit options for Local, regional, and various organizations, including police departments, School boards of education officials, and Multiple Government agencies at the local and state level. Also, our ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to drive sales among existing clients and new clients through a mix of networking, referrals, PR marketing strategies, and social media platforms. No Cold Calling. No Purchasing Of Leads.

Responsibilities

• Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience.
• Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims.
• Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current.
• Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies.

Qualifications

Compensation
