Job summary

Farmers Insurance Agencies is seeking a full-time life insurance agent in Missouri to build a prospective client base, market products, and guide policyholders through claims. You will grow new business through networking and referrals, maintain records, and manage appointments and inquiries about coverage and billing.

A current Life & Health license is valued, and strong communication and service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Current Life & Health insurance license is valued.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Background in health or life insurance industries preferred.
• Client service experience as a sales representative a plus.

Responsibilities

• Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims
• Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience
• Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
• Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date
• Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies
