The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest “ski beaches” in the world.

The Grand Hyatt is comprised of 436 luxury accommodations including 359 guest rooms, 55 residences and 22 suites with approximately 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, lobby level 3-meal restaurant and bar, signature bar, pool/après ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool and 3 whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area.

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Lead Esthetician to oversee our esthetics department and elevate the client experience. This leadership role combines hands-on expertise in advanced skincare treatments with team mentorship and business development responsibilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, thrives in a leadership role, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of estheticians to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Perform advanced esthetic treatments, including facials, peels, and other skincare services.
• Conduct personalized skin consultations and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing training and education to team members on techniques, products, and service standards.
• Monitor team performance and contribute to achieving departmental revenue goals.
• Stay informed on the latest skincare trends, technologies, and product innovations.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Licensed Esthetician in good standing with all required certifications.
• Proven experience in a spa, salon, or medical esthetics environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Expertise in a wide range of skincare treatments and product knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and customer service skills.
• Business-minded with the ability to drive performance and client retention.
• Proven ability to lead by example and inspire a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Passion for wellness, customer service, and team development.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have schedule flexibility to work days, early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
