VIKA Maryland, LLC is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our Beltsville, Maryland team. The candidate will contribute to a variety of private- and public-sector surveying projects and work with the latest surveying technologies.

The role requires a Professional Land Surveyor license (LS or LST), 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor License (LS) or Land Surveyor In-Training License (LST) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of surveying experience.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and AutoCAD for field and office work.
• Strong knowledge of land development surveys and construction stakeouts.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and driven to succeed; able to work in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research and review of boundaries, plats, deeds, easements, and title at local, county, and state levels.
• Collaborate with title and utility companies and local governments to support project approvals.
• Prepare field documentation and calculations of horizontal and vertical control.
• Coordinate client and contractor requests for land surveys and stakeouts.
