VIKA Maryland is seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our Germantown or Beltsville, Maryland team.

VIKA Maryland, LLC is a leading Survey, Civil Engineering, Planning, and Landscape Architecture firm in the DC metro area. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our Germantown or Beltsville, Maryland team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects involving all aspects of private and public-sector developments. Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following technical and practical abilities to effectively thrive in this position:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ office experience preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of boundary and topographic surveys, record plats, legal descriptions, and construction surveys
• Proficient in Civil-3D AutoCAD
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
• Motivated to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  

Responsibilities

This position will require carrying out the following assignments and roles within an interdisciplinary environment:

• Prepare survey documents including ALTA surveys, metes & bounds descriptions, record plats, topographical surveys, and construction cut sheets under the supervision of a professional surveyor.
