We are currently seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to join our Germantown or Beltsville, Maryland team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects involving all aspects of private- and public-sector developments. Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor License (LS) or Land Surveyor In-Training License (LST)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Experienced with Civil 3D, Auto-Cad
• Proficient in land development surveys and construction stakeout
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to succeed
• Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed research and review of boundaries, plats, deeds, easements, and title at local, county, and state levels
• Work with title and utility companies, as well as local governments, to assist with approval of projects
• Prepare documentation of fieldwork
• Coordinate client and contractor requests for land surveys and construction stakeouts
• Perform calculations of horizontal and vertical control
