Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring a full-time Journeyman Plumber (Licensed) for the Canyon, TX location. The role requires a Journeyman license and four years of experience, with responsibilities including overseeing plumbing maintenance, reading blueprints, and coordinating with vendors.

The position offers a full-time schedule, standard hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and a comprehensive benefits package with same-day pay options. Online applications are accepted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8 years of training and work experience, including 4 years in a DOL-accredited Apprentice Program plus 4 years as a Journeyman Plumber.
• Must have a valid Master’s Plumbing license as well as proof of a valid RMP endorsement.
• Must possess a valid Class “C” driver’s license.
• Rudimentary ability to utilize hand-operated construction equipment.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair/replacement, operation and renovation of plumbing equipment and facilities.
• Read and understand blueprints and plans; assist in planning work layout.
• Review outside vendor projects and generate punch lists.
• Analyze and correct complex building system problems, alone or with a team.
• Maintain logs and use CMMS to track tasks and statuses.
