Qualifications

• Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners Journeyman Plumber license required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting.
• Must have one of: Journeyman Electrical License, EPA certification, Carpentry, Welding, Steam and Pipefitting, Masonry, Electronic Instrumentation.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, installs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems and related facilities.
• Leads a group of workers on a project.
• Maintains logs, schedules and coordinates repairs.
• Responds to emergency problems and performs repairs as needed.
