Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking a Journeyman Service Plumber for residential work in the Austin, TX area. You will diagnose, repair and install plumbing systems, ensuring safety and code compliance. Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities include leading apprentices, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining tools and inventory. A valid Journeyman license and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman plumbing license and 2+ years in residential/commercial plumbing.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Driver's license with clean record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and determine repairs or replacements.
• Install, maintain and repair water, gas, and sewage systems.
• Locate leaks, test for safety and ensure code compliance.
• Lead apprentices and coordinate with teams on larger projects.
• Manage inventory and ensure tools are in good condition.
