Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvements in California. This full-time role requires flexibility for overnight shifts and travel to various job sites.

You will install conduit, wiring, panels, and control systems, read blueprints, and coordinate with foremen and other trades to keep projects on schedule. A valid journeyman license and ability to commute are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license issued by the DIR.
• Ability to commute to multiple job sites.
• Willingness to work third shifts or overnight shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services for our clients. We are currently seeking a Licensed Journeyman Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages.

Schedule

• Requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the DIR
• Ability to commute to various jobsites
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather
