Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Proactively generate leads through cold calling/telemarketing, networking, referrals, community involvement, and digital outreach.

Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients across commercial lines, group benefits, life, and disability coverage.

Conduct in-person and virtual consultations to assess client needs and present policy options.

Client Relationshi Management

Establish and nurture strong, consultative relationships with business owners.

Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and client servicing in a timely and professional manner.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing guidance on risk management and coverage adequacy.

Quote and place policies with a broad range of insurance carriers.

Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting guidelines, appetite, and competitive positioning.

Utilize comparative rater and agency management systems to streamline quoting and servicing.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all activities unequivocally adhere to state licensing requirements, agency procedures, and ethical standards.

Accurately document all communications and transactions in the agency management system.

Qualifications

Active state insurance license preferred but not required to apply (Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licenses will be required to advance).

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Exceptional communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Compensation and Work Environment
