Job summary

Windy Ridge Insurance Agency is seeking a Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our in-office team in Grand Rapids. You will focus on strengthening client relationships, handling inquiries, claims, and policy updates, with an emphasis on retention and long-term satisfaction.

The role offers a base salary plus commissions and bonus opportunities, PTO, health, dental and vision insurance, and a Monday–Friday schedule with evenings off.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Experience in customer retention, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance relationships with current clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Provide ongoing support and service to clients, addressing inquiries, claims, and policy updates.
• Proactively assess customer needs and offer appropriate coverage solutions.
• Develop retention strategies to reduce customer churn and improve satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure timely responses.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all relevant documentation is up-to-date.
• Monitor retention goals and metrics to ensure departmental success.
• Recognize opportunities to cross-sell/up-sell current clients.
