Job summary

Kemper is seeking licensed insurance agents in the Tuscaloosa area to join field sales teams. You will manage an established book of business, collect premiums on a self-determined schedule, and drive new sales with a pay-for-performance model that rewards growth and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed to sell all Kemper Life products (Life, Health, P&C).
• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with auto insurance.
• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating home visits and conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining relationships by collecting premiums on a schedule you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
