Job summary

Kemper is seeking licensed Life/Health/P&C insurance agents for field sales in the Oneonta, Alabama area. This full-time position includes a sign-on bonus and uncapped commissions, with a focus on visiting current and prospective customers to present policies and collect premiums.

Agents will operate with a book of business, earn commissions, and have opportunities for awards and growth within a pay-for-performance culture. A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Licensed to sell Kemper Life products (Life, Health, P&C).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating home visits, conducting sales presentations, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule.
• Responding to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, or loans.
• Record keeping and processing policy paperwork.
