Job summary

Byrne Agency is seeking an experienced, licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in Wichita, KS. You will prospect, follow up with leads, present coverage options, and close new business, while owning your sales pipeline and working toward agency goals.

The ideal candidate has a current Property & Casualty license and prior insurance sales experience, along with excellent communication and time-management skills to meet measurable sales targets.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License is REQUIRED.
• Previous insurance sales experience is REQUIRED.
• Proven sales and closing ability.
• Strong communication and phone skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell auto, home, renters, and other personal insurance products.
• Contact new prospects and follow up with existing leads.
• Prepare and present insurance quotes and coverage options.
• Identify opportunities to bundle and cross-sell additional products.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective customers.
• Manage and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ask for referrals and identify additional household opportunities.
• Accurately document customer interactions and sales activity.
• Meet established sales, production, and activity goals.
• Provide a professional and positive customer experience.
• Follow agency procedures and insurance compliance requirements.

We are looking for a motivated sales professional who already understands the insurance industry and is comfortable prospecting, following up with leads, presenting coverage options, and closing new business.

This is a sales-focused position with measurable production and activity expectations. The ideal candidate is competitive, self-motivated, organized, and consistent with follow-up. You should be comfortable taking ownership of your sales pipeline and working toward individual and agency goals.

An active Property & Casualty insurance license and previous insurance sales experience are required for this position.
