Job Description

The Licensed Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth for the organization through inbound and outbound modes of interaction. The representative uses strong sales skills to deliver a proven sales method that uncovers customer needs, identifies coverage gaps, recommends solutions to fully protect customers, and builds a case to positively influence the decision to purchase Allstate's products, including those within the Allstate family of companies and other Allstate-owned brands. The role is evaluated based on sales production, time management, quality of business, and adherence to company and industry rules, regulations, and processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Work from home to connect with prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls, live chat, SMS, etc., to drive sales growth.
  2. Utilize your insurance expertise to uncover needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend solutions from Allstate's product portfolio, converting prospects into customers using a proven sales strategy.
  3. Obtain your Property & Casualty Lines license with Allstate's support, including licensing assistance and reimbursement of exam and fees.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Pay: $17.50 per hour
  • Target Total Compensation: $49,400 - $74,100 annually (Base + incentives)
  • Paid training from day one
  • Licensing assistance and reimbursement
  • Eligible for full benefits from day one, including health insurance, pension, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and wellbeing programs
  • Sign-on bonus of $3,000 upon licensing completion prior to hire or within 90 days of employment
Job Requirements
  • Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License preferred; support available if not licensed
  • At least 1 year of sales, customer service, or related experience preferred
  • Availability for weekend and night hours
  • High stress tolerance, critical thinking, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple computer programs
  • Reliable internet with Ethernet connection
  • Dedicated home workspace; equipment provided
  • HS Diploma or GED required
