Job Description

The Licensed Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth through inbound and outbound interactions. You will use strong sales skills to uncover customer needs, identify coverage gaps, recommend solutions, and influence purchase decisions within Allstate’s product portfolio and affiliated brands. Success is measured by sales performance, time management, quality of business, and adherence to regulations.

  1. Work from home to connect with prospective customers via calls, chat, SMS, etc.
  2. Utilize your insurance expertise to assess needs, identify gaps, recommend solutions, and convert prospects into customers using a proven sales strategy.
  3. Obtain or hold an active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license, with Allstate’s support for licensing processes.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Pay: $17.50/hour
  • Target Total Compensation: $49,400 - $74,100/year (Base + Uncapped Incentives). Incentives depend on productivity and are not guaranteed.
  • Shift differentials may apply for certain shifts and bilingual capabilities.
  • Paid training from day one, including classroom and on-the-phone training.
  • Licensing assistance and reimbursement for exams and fees.
  • Internet reimbursement.
  • Full benefits from day one: health insurance, pension, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, wellbeing programs, and more.
  • Sign-on bonus of $3,000 upon completing licensing requirements before hire; $3,000 after 90 days if licensed prior to start.
Job Requirements
  • Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License preferred; support available if not licensed.
  • At least 1 year of sales/customer service experience preferred.
  • Availability for weekend and night shifts.
  • High stress tolerance, critical thinking, receptive to coaching, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple programs, and have reliable internet with a dedicated workspace.
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
