Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems across a variety of equipment including rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, and boilers. The role requires strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and adherence to safety and building codes.

Candidate should hold EPA 608 Universal certification and have 3–5 years of HVAC experience in commercial/industrial settings, with hands-on experience in power distribution,

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal certification required.
• 3–5 years HVAC experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting and controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems (rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, distribution) per specs and codes.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical failures, replace components, perform brazed repairs and refrigerant recovery/charging.
• Execute preventive maintenance plant-wide (inspections, lubrication, filter changes, refrigerant checks, coil cleaning, performance monitoring).
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS and ensure systems operate within specs.
• Troubleshoot electrical components (motors, contactors, relays, power distribution 120V-480V) using schematics.
