Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an HVAC technician to install, repair, and troubleshoot rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and distribution systems in commercial/industrial settings.

The role requires 3–5 years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 Universal refrigerant certification, and strong electro‑mechanical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with CMMS and safety with tools is essential.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal refrigerant license required.
• 3–5 years HVAC experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to properly use hand tools and test equipment safely.
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, control systems, and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems (rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, air distribution).
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical failures and replace components like compressors, motors, fans, and controls; perform brazed repairs and refrigerant charging.
• Execute preventive maintenance plant-wide with inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and system performance monitoring.
• Maintain CMMS records and ensure systems operate per manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot electrical components including motors, relays, and power distribution using schematics.
