Job summary

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking a licensed S-2 Journeyperson HVAC Technician to join our service team for commercial HVAC work across Central Connecticut. The role is full-time and long-term, with emphasis on troubleshooting and repairs in the field, typically Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates have solid experience servicing commercial HVAC systems, strong diagnostics, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut S-2 license required.
• Experience servicing commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid Connecticut Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Troubleshoot rooftop units, boilers, hydronic systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.
• Service heating, cooling, and process piping systems.
• Complete service documentation and communicate findings with customers.
• Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach while working independently in the field.

Skilled Trades Partners is currently recruiting for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established and respected mechanical contractor serving commercial clients throughout Connecticut. Our client is seeking a licensed S-2 Journeyperson HVAC Technician to join their growing service team.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity focused primarily on commercial HVAC service work throughout Central Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and repair experience with commercial HVAC systems and enjoy working independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday
• Typical hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Paid travel time
