Skilled Trades Partners is seeking a licensed S-2 Journeyperson HVAC Technician for commercial service work in Central Connecticut, primarily Hartford area. You will diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance in the field.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, independent field work, and the ability to handle service calls while maintaining safety and professionalism. Typical hours are Mon-Fri, with paid travel time and full benefits included.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut S-2 license is required.
• Experience servicing commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Troubleshoot rooftop units, boilers, hydronic systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.
• Service heating, cooling, and process piping systems.
• Complete service documentation and communicate findings with customers.
• Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach while working independently in the field.

Skilled Trades Partners is currently recruiting for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established and respected mechanical contractor serving commercial clients throughout Connecticut. Our client is seeking a licensed S-2 Journeyperson HVAC Technician to join their growing service team.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity focused primarily on commercial HVAC service work throughout Central Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and repair experience with commercial HVAC systems and enjoy working independently in the field.
