Job summary

Brown University Health seeks an Audiologist at Rhode Island Hospital to provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for auditory and vestibular disorders, select and fit hearing instruments and cochlear implants, and deliver aural rehabilitation to help patients regain or optimize their hearing.

The role reports to the Clinical Manager and requires RI licensure, CCC-A/ASHA certification, and a doctoral or master's degree, with a typical schedule of 3 x 10-hour shifts in Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Audiology or Doctoral degree required.
• Current Rhode Island state license to practice Audiology is required.
• CCC-A or CCC-A/ASHA certification to practice in Rhode Island is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for auditory and vestibular disorders.
• Fit and dispense hearing instruments and cochlear implants.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and counseling to patients and caregivers.
• Complete documentation and ensure medical necessity and compliance with standards.
