Reporting to: Sales Manager

We are seeking Licensed Health Insurance Agents

We are looking for driven and passionate Licensed Health Insurance Sales Agents to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will guide prospective customers through health insurance options, enroll them in suitable plans, and ensure high service and satisfaction. Strong communication skills, sales targets, and compliance with CMS guidelines are essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Receive inbound calls from customers seeking health insurance information in licensed states.
  2. Make outbound sales calls to introduce potential customers to health insurance plans.
  3. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate health insurance plans.
  4. Enroll prospects efficiently, ensuring a seamless process.
  5. Quote, present, and close sales, overcoming objections effectively.
  6. Follow up with prospects to provide updates, address concerns, and close sales.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries promptly.
  8. Receive coaching from sales leadership.
  9. Adhere to CMS standards and understand compliance requirements.
  10. Meet sales and productivity goals daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
  11. Maintain accurate customer records in CRM.
  12. Use desktop computers and software proficiently.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications

  • Active and valid resident health insurance license.
  • Additional state licenses are a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years Medicare sales experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • High school diploma or higher.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web tools.
  • Internet speed: minimum 80 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload.
  • Ability to pass background and OIG checks.
  • Flexible working hours between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST, including some weekends and during the AEP period.

Telecommuting Requirements

  • Secure handling of company data.
  • Dedicated, private work area.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.

Compensation

  • Starting at $20/hour plus uncapped commissions and spiffs; reviewable during interview.
  • Monthly residual payments based on performance.
  • Average annual earnings around $88,000; top agents earn over $120,000.
