Job description

*Position Duties and Primary Responsibilities*

1. The Licensed Telesales Representative is responsible for educating beneficiaries about healthcare products and helping them make informed decisions about their health plans.
2. Responsible for telephonically selling Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) to eligible beneficiaries.
3. Adhere strictly to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) sales and marketing regulations, along with Sentara Health Plan policies and procedures.
4. Maintain annual training and licensure renewal as required.
5. *Must have a Virginia insurance license, possess or be eligible for AHIP certification, and have Medicare and/or Contact Center experience.*
6. The typical day involves handling incoming calls from potential members regarding eligibility and enrollment.
7. Evaluate if callers qualify for an Individual or DSNIP Plan based on their information.
8. Provide insurance coverage quotes, educate on plan details, and complete enrollments if the caller chooses to proceed.
9. Inform callers who are ineligible about alternative contacts for more information.
10. Transfer calls to the appropriate department when necessary.
11. During downtime, outbound calls are made to families with dependents aging off plans, offering quotes.

*Pay and Benefits*

The pay range is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on job classification and employment length, and benefits may change. Available benefits include:
