Qualifications

  • 3 years minimum experience
  • Independently manage assigned files from opening through closing and funding
  • Review title commitments and resolve Schedule B/C requirements
  • Order and track surveys, secure payoffs, gather items to clear title
  • Prepare settlement statements and Closing Disclosures, process lender instructions
  • Conduct closings and signings with buyers, sellers, borrowers
  • Review all legal documents for accuracy of names, dates, descriptions
  • Serve as point of contact for escalated client or Producer concerns
  • Support and mentor Escrow Coordinators
  • Perform general office duties and use title software

Job description

An excellent Title agency is hiring a Licensed Real Estate Title Closer. The closer will serve as the contact and close the transaction with the customer. Must have excellent customer service skills. A book of business is preferred. Salary negotiable, depending upon the book of business.

  • 3 years minimum experience
  • Independently manage assigned files from opening through closing and funding, using each file as an opportunity to reinforce and strengthen current relationships with the Producers and Clients involved.
  • Review title commitments, which includes identifying and resolving Schedule B exceptions and Schedule C requirements, as well as coordinating curative work with the title examination team.
  • Order and track surveys, secure payoffs, and gather any other items required to clear title.
  • Prepare accurate settlement statements and Closing Disclosures, and process lender closing instructions and fees.
  • Conduct closings and signings with buyers, sellers, and borrowers in a professional, confident, and personable manner.
  • Review all legal documents for accuracy as to names, dates, legal descriptions, and vesting.
  • Serve as a point of contact for escalated client or Producer concerns, resolving issues directly whenever possible.
  • Support and mentor Escrow Coordinators, Sr. Escrow Coordinators
  • Perform any and all clerical and administrative duties required for the proper execution of respective job duties
  • Perform general office functions, as needed
  • Software skills necessary to provide services identified above
  • Must have a TEXAS notary
  • Must have a TEXAS title license
  • High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, strong problem solving & prioritization skills

The position requires related experience working in external relationship management
