Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an Environmental Engineer or Scientist to join our Austin, TX team.

You will conduct office and field activities related to environmental compliance projects, developing plans, permits, and reports in coordination with clients and regulatory requirements. The role involves SPCCs, SWPPPs, NPDES applications, and site investigations for TRRP-related work, with opportunities to contribute to remediation and permitting efforts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Environmental Consulting experience.
• Licensed P.E. or P.G. is preferred.
• Open to working on industrial sites and following client safety protocols.
• Strong knowledge of TRRP; knowledge of RRC regulations is a plus.
• Experience with due diligence, site assessment/investigation, soil and groundwater remediation, environmental permitting (stormwater, wastewater, RCRA) and reporting (SPCC, annual).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Preparing SPCCs, SWPPPs, NPDES permit applications, and other environmental permits.
• Conducting facility audits, field investigations, data collection and site reconnaissance.
• Managing or participating in sampling programs for storm water and industrial wastewater.
