Job summary

Spero Health is seeking a Counselor/Social Worker to join our integrated team in Massachusetts. This role supports patients with counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment within an integrated care model.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing evidenced-based counseling, educating patients, and ensuring treatment adherence through collaboration. A license-eligible clinician will be integral to the clinic workflow.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or related).
• Experience in human-services settings preferred or Master's degree in behavioral science.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward overcoming addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource, ensuring HIPAA CFR 42 Part 2 compliance.
