Job summary

Spero Health, INC. is seeking a licensed Counselor to join our Lexington, KY team.

This role supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” by delivering counseling within an integrated care model that includes case management and medically assisted treatment. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a human services field, an active license (CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC), and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or related).
• Minimum 1 year of full‑time employment/internship in a human-services setting OR Master's in behavioral science.
• Licenses: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward recovery from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPAA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.
