Spero Health is seeking a Counselor/Social Worker to join our team in Lynn, MA. This licensed professional supports integrated care with counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment, guided by the mission of Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships.

The role involves conducting assessments, providing evidenced-based counseling, education, and ensuring program accountability while helping patients set realistic goals toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or related).
• Minimum 1 year of full-time employment/internship in a human-services setting or Master's Degree in behavioral science.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPAA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.
