Job summary

Spero Health in Murray is seeking a Counselor to join our integrated care team, providing counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment for patients.

This licensed professional will perform initial assessments, deliver evidence-based counseling, educate patients, support treatment goals, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and CFR Part 2, while pursuing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field is required.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time employment/internship in a human-services setting or a Master's Degree in behavioral science.
• License: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPAA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.
