Job summary

Community Health Alliance is seeking an experienced Licensed Independent Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to lead our outpatient therapy team in Hamilton, Ohio. This Clinical Supervisor role combines supervision, staff development, and quality oversight with opportunities to provide direct clinical services and shape behavioral health care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, clinical counseling, or related field.
• Licensed in Ohio (LISW or LPCC) preferred.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Expertise in diagnostic assessments, CBT, and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical service delivery to ensure contracts and standards compliance.
• Monitor effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and overall workflow.
• Conduct client assessments and determine diagnoses.
• Develop individualized, strengths-based treatment plans.
• Assist Director with program development and evaluation.
• Assess risk levels and implement safety planning.
• Facilitate and manage therapeutic groups and programming.
• Coordinate care with external agencies and provide reporting.
• Supervise clinical staff and interns, including evaluations and coaching.
• Ensure compliance through audits and proper clinical documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee clinical service delivery to ensure compliance with contracts, licensing, accreditation, and agency standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and overall workflow.
• Conduct client assessments, determine diagnoses, and identify treatment or testing needs.
• Develop individualized, strengths-based treatment plans aligned with client needs and preferences.
• Support the Director with program development, implementation, evaluation, and technical assistance.
• Assess client risk levels, complete risk assessments, and implement appropriate safety planning.
• Facilitate and manage therapeutic groups and group programming.
• Coordinate care with external agencies and provide required reporting to community partners.
• Supervise clinical staff and interns, including performance evaluations, coaching, productivity monitoring, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Ensure compliance through audits, peer reviews, accurate clinical documentation, and proper management of clinical records.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio-LISW or LPCC.
• Supervisory Designation is preferred.
• Master's degree or higher education in social work, clinical counseling, or related studies.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Expertise in diagnostic assessments, cognitive behavioral therapeutic modalities, and trauma-informed care.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams.
